Les abat-jours Shibori

For this collection of lampshades, I use the woven shibori technique and I dye with the plant resources of my environment, from sustainable harvests or plant extracts.
This way of creating is a perpetual balance between mastery and letting go, technicality and randomness, to make subtle, natural and respectful objects. Each piece is entirely handmade and may present variations due to its craftsmanship.
This collection is intended for today's homes that favour a decoration that combines modernity and traditional know-how. It offers colours that tell the story of a landscape and create a subtle harmony thanks to the inimitable depth of colour of plant colours.
Easy to combine with different styles of classic or contemporary interiors, shibori lampshades perfectly dress up living rooms with a warm and cosy light.
Linen and hemp from French and European spinning mills are the preferred materials for this collection. They are combined with silk for a touch of exoticism and refinement that accentuates the vibration of the colours.
I work mainly with plant extracts made in Occitania, France and Europe and occasionally with plants from sustainable harvesting in my immediate environment.
